The District of Columbia Dental Society (DCDS) is a professional association representing over 500 dentists working in and around Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Founded in 1866, the Society is the American Dental Association’s local constituent society, equivalent to a state chapter.

Since the Society’s inception, our members have shown their commitment to improving oral health literacy and outcomes in our community, and shaping the future of our profession.
