Welcome to the home page of the District of Columbia Dental Society. The D.C. Dental Society is the professional association representing dentists in the Nation's Capital. In existence since 1866, the Society is equivalent to a state chapter of the American Dental Association.

DCDS Five-year Strategic Plan
We are DCDS: Passionate about our Profession, our Community, and our Future! On January 7, 2013 the Board of Directors approved our new five-year Strategic Plan, which you can access by clicking here. The Plan represents over a year of work by our Strategic Planning Coalition under the leadership of Dr. Sheila Sheinberg, who facilitated multiple meetings. The Plan serves as guiding document to steer the actions and decisions of the Society over the next five-years.
The Plan is a "Living" document and the Coalition values your questions about and suggestions for additional Goals, Objectives and Actions. Please email your questions and suggestions to Todd Philbrick, Executive Director at toddp@dcdental.org. Suggestions will be reviewed by the Strategic Planning Coalition during our quarterly progress meetings and the updated Plan will always be available at our website.
