2025 Symposium for Licensure - Oct. 25 with SmileCon

The D.C. Dental Society will host the 2025 Symposium for Licensure on Saturday, October 25.

The Symposium is designed to enable dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants to complete required courses for their DC license renewal on:

  • Infection Control (2 hours)
  • LGBTQ Cultural Competency (2 hours)
  • Ethics (1 hour)
  • Opioids Prescribing and Misuse (2 hours)

The Symposium will be held the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Additional details regarding DC continuing education requirements for dentists, dental hygienists and dental assistants are available on the DCDS DC Licensure web page.

Registration for the Symposium for Licensure is managed through the ADA SmileCon website. Attendees can register for the Symposium Only or can add Smilecon to their registration to create a 2-Day Combo Pass (see details below*).
