Meet the members of the Committee on Local Arrangements (CLA) from DC. These DCDS volunteers are helping to prepare for ADA SmileCon this October. We express our gratitude to them all for their dedication.

 

Aliya Kassam, DDS - CLA Chair

Dr. Aliya Kassam

Meet Dr. Aliya Kassam, your Chair of Local Arrangements for the 2025 DC meeting! A proud graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry, she co-founded three thriving dental practices in Washington, DC and Maryland, all rooted in community and compassion. Dr. Kassam is known for her tech-forward, people-first philosophy that makes dentistry feel less clinical and more personal. She also serves as a part-time faculty member at her alma mater, where she’s passionate about mentorship, service, and pushing the profession forward. Outside of dentistry, you’ll find her globe-trotting, food-hopping, and soaking up quality time with her loved ones.

 

Eric Bradshaw, DDS

Dr. Eric M. Bradshaw is a seasoned dentist and managing partner at Two Aces Dentistry, which operates multiple locations in Washington, DC and Silver Spring, Maryland. He brings decades of clinical expertise and business leadership to his practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In addition to his dental work, Dr. Bradshaw actively oversees strategic operations. He is known for his entrepreneurial vision and commitment to excellence in the dental industry.

 

 

Albert Coombs III, DMD

Dr. Albert Coombs III

Dr. Albert Coombs III, DMD, is the founder of Smile Services DC, a dental practice in Washington, D.C., focused on delivering high-quality care to underserved communities. With over a decade of experience, he specializes in implant and restorative dentistry. He is a national “40 Under 40” honoree recognized by Incisal Edge Magazine and a Kenyon College Athletic Hall of Fame inductee. Dr. Coombs is also a strong advocate for Medicaid dental access and legislative reform. Outside of dentistry, he co-founded Official CP Time, a national watch club that celebrates culture, community, and craftsmanship.
