DC Board of Dentistry Requests DCDS Input on Proposed Regulations on Sedation and Anesthesia

The District of Columbia Board of Dentistry is requesting DCDS input on its proposed regulations for the administration of sedation and general anesthesia. If approved, the regulations would create a new certification requirement for individual dentists to administer sedation in their practices. The DCDS Public Policy Committee is currently reviewing the draft regulations and putting together comments on behalf of the Society. However, the committee would also like to obtain member feedback on the proposed regulations. Please click on the link below to view and download the draft regulations.
