Course Description:

COVID-19 realigned the financial fundamentals for dentists. For example, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and other COVID-19 assistance programs provided a financial lifeline for dentists and many others. Those same programs come with specific rules and requirements.

Join us to learn more about the new financial benchmarks for dentists due to COVID-19 and next steps for those dentists who received funding from COVID-19 federal assistance programs.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the importance of cash flow and key cash flow evaluation metrics
2. Understand the tax consequences of the different types of COVID-19 assistance loans and grants.
3. Learn steps a dental practice should take to prepare for another possible shutdown.
